Did you know that…..

the wide variety of toxic drugs reactions is called “Adverse Drugs Reactions” ?

The Adverse Drugs Reactions may be classified as:

  1. Mild. No antidote, therapy, or prolongation of hospitalization necessary.
  2. Moderate. Requires a change in drug therapy, although not necessarily cessation of the drug, or may prolong hospitalization or require special treatment.
  3. Severe. Potentially life-threatening, requires discontinuation of the drug and specific treatment of the adverse reaction.
  4. Lethal. Directly or indirectly contributes to the death of the patient.
