Language Function

Did you know that…..

Language Function resides predominantly in the left hemisphere of most persons ?

Damage or injury of any part of that cerebral area interferes with some aspects of the language functions. If that happened may appear the following disorders:

  1. Sensory aphasia,
  2. Motor aphasia,
  3. Alexia,
  4. Dysphasia,
  5. Agraphia,
  6. Dysgraphia,
  7. Anomia, and
  8. Dysartria.
