Most of the drugs caused also physical dependence.

The Cannabis or “Marijuana” (also marihuana) is used in the form of cigarettes made from the dried plant, or its resin and flowers.
The effects of the drug are: exaltation, feeling of well-being, euphoric state and excitement. It also produces the decreases of motor abilities, the sensation that the time passes very slowly, exacerbation of schizophrenic symptoms, and difficulties in depth perception, which is very important during automobile driving.
The Cannabis Dependence produces psychic dependence, but there is no physical dependence, no tolerance is developed, and no abstinence syndrome when the drug is discontinued.
Metabolic products of marijuana are retained in the tissues for a lengthy time.

Another type of dependence is the physical or physiological dependence. This type of dependence is characterized by the appearance of signs of tolerance or withdrawal.
